Winter in Europe
Holiday winter in europe is great. I travelled around Europe from the end of october to begining of december 2008. It was just the begining of winter when i arrived there and it was already pretty cold - for indonesian anyway :-). Almost places that i visited was around 1C to 6C. During the last november, a part of Europe, which is belgium has experienced temperatures below -2C and snow has fallen but it was only for 3 days then rest of my winter holiday was no snow - it was gone with the wind.
Belgium
"The Heart of Europe". It is the best kept secret in Europe. Visiting medieval cities, quaint towns, gothic cathedrals and town halls. A home for chocolates, beer, pastry, diamonds, and the two main linguistic groups, the Dutch speakers/Flemish and the French speakers/Waloong.
Germany
Germany's cities have endless pleasant surprises in store for those who enjoy 'printen' biscuits. I experienced everything from the exciting hustle and bustle of the large cities to the cultural wonders.
Holland/Netherland
The home of bicycles. It is small in size, big in events, attractions and activities.
